Parveen Shakir Biography – Life History
Birth
Date Of Birth – 24th November 1952
Birth Place – Karachi – Sindh – Pakistan
Education
Two undergraduate degrees, 1st in English literature and 2nd in linguistics,also she obtained MA degrees in the same subjects from the University of Karachi. She also held a PhD, and another MA degree in Bank Administration
Parveen Shakir was a teacher for 09 years, she joined the Civil Service and worked in the Customs department. In 1986 she was appointed the second secretary, C-B-R in Islamabad.

Parveen Shakir married with Syed Naseer Ali , He was a Doctor but his married life was not successful and she got divorced.
Parveen Shakir Son
She had one son and her son name is Syed Murad Ali
Parveen Shakir Death
On 26 December 1995 her car collided with a truck or bus, The accident resulted in her death, a great loss to the Urdu poetry.
